Vegas Improv Power presents a new Functional Improv™ event - our Book Club, a 4-week improv class! If you're like us, you have an ever-growing list of books on your "to read" list that you never get to. Let us do the reading for you, and then put it into practice with real life exercises based on the teachings and philosophies expressed by the author.
For each Book Club, we will pick a new non-fiction book. But instead of reading it and discussing our thoughts, we'll embody and practice the principles, ideas, and overall message of the book through a variety of improv-like exercises and discussions.
We will meet virtually for four weeks on Thursday nights from 6pm-8pm Pacific in a Zoom meeting. We will discuss the basic ideas the book presents, and we will create custom classes to bring the book to life through experiential learning. You are welcome to read the book if you'd like, but it is not required by any means.
So come make new friends, try something new, and do some learning in the process as we embark on the first of many Functional Improv™ Book Club events to come in the future!
